- 2024 Helene FloodThe Washington County Long Term Recovery Group activated in October 2024. The group published a governance structure organization documents in May 2025.
- Getting StartedWCLTRG provides a variety of methods by which to contact the group and all of those outreach methods are funneled to the navigator team, a network of volunteers who are prepared to engage residents.
- How a Long Term Recovery Group HelpsA long term recovery group (LTRG) helps survivors recover from disaster in a number of ways. Primarily LTRGs, like the Washington County Recovery Group, support the recovery process by coordinating resources and survivors. LTRGs may provide critical information to survivors, host events for local resources, partner with survivors to prepare a recovery plan, and coordinate assistance betwen benefactors and survivors.
